Bard® LHI® Preshaped Mesh
The Bard LHI Preshaped Mesh is constructed of
Bard polypropylene mesh, the gold standard in hernia repair for over
40 years. Developed with the world renowned Lichtenstein Hernia Institute,
the Bard LHI Preshaped Mesh takes the guesswork out of sizing
and shaping the mesh when a sugeon performs a Lichtenstein inguinal
hernia repair procedure.
Its three-dimensional dome design is contoured to compensate
for the forward movement of the transversalis fascia to its normal
position when the patient stands up from the surgical recumbent position,
thus optimizing the "tension-free" aspect of the Lichtenstein hernia
repair technique.
